After all of the ECG fun, we went down to the skills lab to practice securing airways. We practiced securing adult and infant airways, did nasal and fiber optic intubations and used the light wands, LMA's and fast trachs. The best part of the lab was laughing so hard at each other when we rocked against the mannequins teeth and heard the alarm that went along with it. Laura and Anne were the funniest about it! Amy and Kathryn stayed true to form and kept things interesting as well. This definitely has to be the best group that has gone through WFUBMC NAP ever!!
We are 24 SRNA students, dedicated to helping each other through the adventure of nurse anesthesia school all while documenting our journey along the way!
