6th Annual Jr/Sr Picnic

It has become a tradition for the rising senior's to have a cookout for the incoming junior's and this year was no exception. We all had a great time welcoming the new junior's. It's fun to see their excitement and even their nervousness and remember that we were just barely in their shoes. Wow does it feel good to not have to go through that first year again!!

The cookout went off without a hitch, well everything but the veggie burger mashed potatoes. I should have gotten a picture of that mess! Most all of us senior's were there, there was a ton of food, and lots of laughs. We had a raffle for the junior's and even a pinata for the kids, what fun!!

Thank you to all of the senior's for their contributions, this could not have happened without you! A special thanks to Bobby and LaRona for being such gracious hosts and thanks to everyone who came, it was a great time! Congrats to the senior's on one year down and only 51 weeks to go!! Junior's way to go on being accepted. We know you'll do great!

Adam, Carie and Jaime took a trip to Costco to buy the majority of the food for the cookout. There was a lot of food/drinks in this cart, but really come on Adam and Carie ~ is the cart really that heavy??!!

I think not, Jaime made pushing this cart like a stroll through the park.

Having a little fun at the party store!! We definitely had fun shopping for all the goods!

Adam's son Patrick. This is apparently his "NO" face. We saw this sweet
little face all night ~ it's hilarious!
Alison's son Jackson. He obviously likes watermelon!! There was nothing left of this piece. We asked him how many pieces he'd eaten, but he had lost count.
Jim and Christi Dieckman
A little swingin' action?? Nah! Just a good group of friends.
Ah, that's better! Holly, a new junior with her boyfriend Jonathon and Amy "kind of a big deal" Young with her boyfriend/"serving wench" Bryan.
We had ladder gold, cornhole, basketball and pogo stick fun going on.

LaShaunda with her girls and her new junior buddy Charlene.
Giving out the raffle prized. Eliza and Patrick were great helpers!

This is Patrick's very first sucker!! What great parents Adam and Margaret are, they obviously haven't had to learn how to bribe their child yet!

Some of the kiddo's getting Bobby ready for parenthood! Not too much longer now Bobby.

We threw such a RAGER, the cops showed up!!! Not really, but it sounds cool right?? A neighbor complained that there were too many cars on the street and was blocking their driveway. I guess that means we had a good turn out, huh?!
